• Mo Chit Station

3. Koh Samae San (Samae San Island)

Public Transportation

  • Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) take a bus from Bangkok – Rayong and get off at Sattahip.
  • Bangkok Bus Terminal Ekkamai: Bangkok – Trat. The first bus leaves at 4.00 a.m. and leaves every 50 minutes. And get off at Sattahip.
    When arrived Sattahip market, take a blue minibus (Samae San). The minibus will go to the Thai Island and Sea Natural History Center. Then walk into the ticket office.

From Bangkok, take Highway No.3 (Bangna-Trat) turn left onto Highway 344 (Chon Buri – Ban Bueng – Klaeng) when reaching Klaeng District. Turn left onto Highway 3 Pass through Chanthaburi to Trat, total distance 315 kilometers. Before reaching Laem Ngop pier, there is a shop opposite Krom Luang Chumphon Monument. You can take the public transportation to Laem Ngop pier from both Mo Chit 2 and Bangkok Bus Terminal Ekkamai.
